Cryotherapy blemish removal is a quick and precise treatment designed to remove a range of benign skin lesions from the face and body. Using a handheld device, an ultra-cold, high-pressure jet of nitrous oxide is directed precisely at the unwanted lesion, freezing the targeted area while minimising impact on the surrounding healthy skin. The treatment is suitable for benign lesions measuring approximately 1–10mm.

Depending on the type and size of the lesion, treatment can take just a few seconds per spot making treatment quick and comfortable. Following treatment, the area may develop a small blister or scab as the skin naturally heals, with the treated lesion typically drying and falling away over the following 2–6 weeks.

Cryotherapy can be used to treat skin tags, cherry angiomas, warts and verrucas. Please note that moles are not able to be treated with this service. Any mole or suspicious skin lesion should be assessed by a qualified medical professional first, due to the potential risk of skin cancer.
